Penelope Garcia is the tech-y brains behind the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI in the TV show Criminal Minds. While binge-watching this show (as any college senior during a break would do) I realized that Garcia is possibly one of the best parts of the show. Everyone enjoys the suspense of the team trying to catch the bad guy or serial killer, but sometimes the show can get a little too intense. That is where Penelope's comic relief and sassy banter with her team mates makes the show that much better. Here are just a few short reasons why this character is the woman we all wish we could be.

She answers the phone in the best possible way

She can do basically anything technical

She cares about the animals

She gets scared and grossed out too

Did I mention she loves animals?

She has her priorities straight

She really loves her job

She's epically sassy

She can appreciate a really attractive man

She knows her self worth

6. People try to find shorter, easier nicknames for you instead of calling you by your actual name

7. When someone famous or fictional character shares your name, you get so happy

8. “What’s your name?” “It’s [name]” “I’m sorry, what was it again?”

9. You’ve pretty much seen every misspelling and heard every mispronunciation of your name throughout your life

10. When you find another person with an “ethnic” sounding name, you both get excited

11. Despite the struggles, your name is pretty unique… just like you
