The best things in life come in October

10 Reasons October is the Best Month

1. Fall

Honestly, everyone knows this is the absolute best season of the year. Summer gets too hot and is especially terrible when you have to go back to school. Winter gets too cold and you have to layer in so many clothes that you can’t look cute. Spring…..allergies.

2. Pumpkins everywhere

Pumpkins in the store, coffee, bread, doughnuts, pie, candy, soda, soaps. We might as well make everything in pumpkin flavor for all of October.

3. Corn Mazes

Who doesn’t want to go walk around aimlessly in a field of corn?

4. UGG’s

5. Spooky Cookies

These come around every season but the Pillsbury spooky ones are the best. (They even have some with pumpkins on them)

6. Campfires

Sitting around an open fire should be something that sounds dangerous but we live for it during the fall. The best part is that the smell will live on your clothes forever.

7. Leaf art

According to my dad, this is a common thing.

8. Candy Corn

The candy that everyone has but no one really likes. Or you pretend to like it during fall then it disappears after the fall season.

9. Football

YEE YEE. College, high school, and pro football to fill your Sunday’s watching grown men toss a ball around.

10. Halloween

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
