10 Reasons To Love Lin-Manuel Miranda
Wikipedia

Most people found out about the genius of Lin-Manuel Miranda with the emergence of Hamilton, a musical, based on the life of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. I know, it sounds boring, but this show has changed lives all over the world. But, Hamilton was not his first rodeo. He is well versed in all things theatre with another musical of his, In the Heights, winning four Tony Awards in 2008, including the one for Best Musical. When it comes to Hamilton, Lin wrote the book, Music and Lyrics, and plays the title character. The show broke records at this year's Tony Award nominations with 16 total. Since its emergence onto the Broadway stage, his unique personality and passion for art and justice have drawn us all to him.

Here are some of the reasons why:

1. His good morning tweets.

2. He shares all his son's adorable moments with us.

3. He humors all our obsessions and ideals about him.

4. He actually cares about the future- of education, art, and people he doesn't even know.

5. His relationship with Jonathan Groff.

6. While he understands our obsessions, he still cares enough about the art to put his foot down about his work.

7. His passion to give people of color, or any other minority, their fair share of once in a lifetime work.

8. The looks on his face when he watches the people he loves perform.

9. His good night tweets.

10. He takes time to fight for whats right and does it well enough to get the attention of the President.

I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
