If you have ever listened to Panic! At The Disco, you have probably heard about all of the hype for their lead singer, Brendon Urie. Brendon has become quite the sensation across the world from his music to his good looks, and his ability to act. This is just a set of ten reasons why I appreciate Brendon Urie.
1. He can sing.
This is him singing live. LIVE. If you still don't believe me after this then, I don't know what to tell you.
2. His humor.
Ladies, gents, whomever. We all love to laugh. There is no arguing about that. He can make anyone laugh.
3. His wife and he are PERFECT.
At one point in time, people decided to make fun of his wife and say she looked like a character from the Bee Movie. (Stupid, right? She's beautiful.) He quickly stepped in and defended her honor as any man would for their wife. But come on, watching he and his wife hype each other up all the time is the definition of relationship goals.
4. He can make the most of anything.
Let's look at the time someone tweeted that he should sing the DuckTales theme song...
My case is closed.
5. I mean look at him.
His general appearance is just kind of nice. Between the killer hairstyle and the amazing suits, he is just nice to look at.
6. He also loves his pets.
LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT HIM WITH THE GOODEST BOY.
7. His vocal range.
The thing about artists is many of them stick to a small vocal range. He, however, doesn't have a small vocal range. Just watch and be amazed.
8. He is comfortable with who he is.
This guy busts out in a dance every chance he can get. He takes the funniest vines of himself and still ignores the haters.
9. He supports other artists' music.
Peep him popping up in Fall Out Boy's music videos. Kinda cool, right?
10. He's Brendon Urie.
This guy has a combination of talent, charm, and just genuine humor. I personally consider him to be a triple threat in the music industry and the world in general. He stands up for his fans. (Many a photo of him wearing the LGBTQ+ flag during shows.) He is not afraid to talk about mental health, he is willing to do sweet gestures for his fans when he can, and he is just a nice guy. Personally, if I ever had the chance to just sit and have a beer with the guy, I would be content as could be. He is an artist that shows that sticking to what you know in music is what makes you an even better musician.
I just have a huge amount of respect for this guy. Put the looks aside, I've been following his music since I was an angsty teenager. I have since then turned into a glowed up angsty adult. He makes music that people can connect with even if it is in the weirdest of ways i.e. "LA Devotee." He is passionate about his career and he is thriving.
Do yourself a favor if you haven't listened to his music, go listen to it.
