10 Reasons I Know I've Found The One

My whole life I've wondered what it would feel like when I found my soul mate. I wondered how I would know I found the one I would spend the rest of my life with. When it is the right one you get a feeling in your gut that tells you, never let this one go and all these amazing things happen.

1. I'm the happiest I've ever been.

I never smiled this much or felt this happy every day before I met him.

2. I feel safe and at home in his arms.

I've been to many beautiful places, I've experienced many amazing things, but there's nothing in the world like being cuddled against his chest.

3. We have the best time together doing nothing.

I love how we can lie around for hours talking, being silly,or even in silence just watching TV and still have so much fun. There's not many people I can do that with so he's something special.

4. He makes me laugh like I've never laughed before.

He always seems to know when I need a good laugh the most. Every time we are together we laugh at each other (in the best way possible). He laughs at me for my ridiculously horrible jokes, and I laugh at him because he's genuinely funny.

5. I can be my true self around him and never feel like I'm being judged.

As the great Taylor Swift once said, "I'm only me when I'm with you."

6. He makes me a better person.

He is the most gentle, generous person I've ever met, and he inspires me to be the same.

7. He tells me I'm beautiful every single day.

Even when I just woke up with crazy hair, makeup smeared under my eyes and smelly breath, he'll look at me, smile and say, "you're so beautiful" –– and I know he means it. Even if I don't believe him, I know he always means it.

8. He's my best friend.

I tell him all my secrets and all my gossip (even if he doesn't care, he listens and pretends to). He knows all about my flaws and my past, and he still loves me.

9. I love his family and he loves mine.

His family always makes me feel as if I've been a part of it forever, and mine does the same for him.

10. He treats me the way I've always deserved.

He makes me feel loved and like a princess every day. That's something I never experienced with any past relationship. He has shown me that I deserve to be loved and treated with respect, and he does just that.

I never want to imagine my life without him. I know for sure, he's the one.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
