Being raised Catholic, I've given something up during the 40 days/nights of Lent every year. This year, I gave up all types of meat. As an avid lover of chicken wings, I thought this would be my hardest lent ever.
But at some points, I considered quitting my meat-eating habits all together. But, I was struck with these 10 infallible, unavoidable reasons why I could never be 100 percent vegetarian. And here they are:
1. Primarily, chicken wings.
Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Stop, homemade, etc.
2. Steak
3. Ribs
4. Hamburgers
5. Chicken Tenders
6. Bacon
Despite the new "vegetarian" bacon, there is nothing quite like the good authentic thing.
7. Hot Dogs (Chicago style)
8. Sandwiches
Roast beef... turkey... salami. Really, any kind of yummy sandwich.
9. Roasted Chicken
10. Pepperoni Pizza
