I couldn't imagine growing up without my dogs. My dogs are my best friends, and I love them more than anything. I know so many people that have pets too, like birds, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, the list goes on. Having an animal that looks after you and loves you unconditionally is something unexplainable. The bond I have my dogs is something I would never trade. There is something about coming home, and seeing your pet so excited to see you, that makes you feel so loved.

If you hesitate on getting yourself or your kids a pet, here are 10 reasons why you should get one.

1. Your pet will love you unconditionally.

Every time you come home, they'll be so excited to see you.

2. They will play with you and keep you active.

Most pets love running around and playing with their toys with you, which will keep you moving as well.

3. Your pet will cuddle with you when you're sad.

Animals can sense when their owner is sad, and will try to comfort you by snuggling up and giving you lots of affection.

4. Your pet will never get tired of you.

You are the reason your pet is healthy and happy. They will never forget that and always be happy to see you.

5. They are so adorable.

Pets are just so cute. You fall in love with them instantly and you find them to be perfect.

6. Pets can relieve stress.

Whenever you're stressed or overwhelmed, cut out some time with your pet. Studies have shown that spending time with your pets can reduce your stress.
