10 Reasons I Have A Hard Time Losing Weight

Everyone is always in that mindset that losing weight is necessary to be happy with myself and I will have no problem losing weight. Than they start the process and at the beggining you are in the grove and then you slowly start to fall off the banwagin and here is why.

1. I Love Beer

Beer is probably one of the worst things when you are trying to lose weight but unfortanetly it taste so good and it is cheep if you are on a budget at any given time. Also it is hard to go to a sporting event, concert or just a simple social party and turn down a beer.

2. Motivation

It is so hard to stay motivated when you are trying to lose weight. It is easy at the begining because you are looking for results. But than you go a couple week and you start to see no results than there you go jumping off the bandwagin again.

3. Healthy Food Is Expensive

I do not know how anyone can afford food that is good for you because it is like 100 dollars for just fresh food and that is not even considering everything you need to cook the healthy food.

4. I Love Burgers

I do not know about anyone else but burgers and fries are my biggest weakness. Just the idea of being able to bite into a perfectly cooked burger with ketchup, mustard, and pickles at any given time is the best thing in the world.

5. Going To The Gym

Once I am at the gym I can push myself and get a really good workout in. The issue is actually getting to the gym whether it be in walking distance or driving getting ready and going is the hardest part of my day.

6.No Work Out Buddy

Going to the gym with someone else is so much easier because they make the workout way more barrable than when you are there all by yourself trying to keep yourself distracted from the fact you are lowkey dying and wanting to stop at any moment.

7. The Same Workout

When I go to they gym I stick with the same routine every day; there is no varaition. Maybe once in a while I will find myself on a different cardio machine but it is like once in the blue moon. Finding variation would probably help with my motivation.

8.Chocolate

People say a piece of chocolate a day is fine but what if you eat a bar a day, or a whole bag of something. I have crazy cravings for chocolate maybe it is just me but my sweet tooth is definitly hard to fight.

9. Snacking

I have a really busy schedule so I usually never eat a full healthy meal. I tried meal prepping and I just do not have the energy to do that. So in the fact that I do not eat full meals I snack a lot and it honestly defeats the purpose if I eat healthy meals.

10. Always Tired

Most importantly I am 85% of the time always tired so I always rather nap and relax than go to the gym.

So to those out there trying to lose weight and can not you might have just found some of your problems.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
