10 Reasons Four-Year-Olds Make Great Best Friends
Eli Almodovar

Being away from home makes you realize who meant what to you. Being at college for almost two semesters I've learned who my best friend is and who I miss the most, and that would be my 4-year-old nephew Charlie. Heres 10 reasons why 4-year-olds are great at being a best friend.

1. You don't have to dress to impress.

My nephew doesn't care what I'm dressed like or what I if my makeup is done, It's not like we're going to a club, Chuck E Cheese's dress code isn't exactly the same as walking into a night club in your city. That doesn't mean we don't slay the game nonetheless.

2. They don't judge your eating habits.

Heck, they're perfectly okay with having ice cream for dinner, odds are they'll support it 110 percent, get an ice cream of their own, and eat some of yours. You totally don't feel bad or like you have to eat a salad.

3. They're always down to take a cheesy photo.

They are always down to take pictures with people in silly costumes or make silly faces. If you don't have goofy friends like I do odds are they don't really take photos with that guy in a costume in downtown Salem during Halloween.

4. Children are the best judge of character.

It's true, odds are if the person you're dating ends up being a dick, the kid didn't like them from the beginning. Other than dogs kids are the best indicator if that person is a good person. Think about it, if a super friendly kid doesn't like you there's something wrong.

5. They love to be busy.

Whether it's playing "guys", running outside, or going somewhere kids like to do things. They don't want to sit and do nothing all day. They are the best partner to have in the summer because they are always down for the beach.

6. They're always super supportive.

Kids are great because they will support you and be excited for you, even if they don't know why. I'm not really sure why they're so supportive but it's pretty great, imagine having someone that thinks you're great even on your worst days.

7. Your "fights" aren't all over social media.

Heck, what 4-year-old has a cell phone and why would they post that you didn't want to play power rangers all the time. Just know that your fights will be over quick and the internet will have no clue they even happened.

8. Have I said how cute or sweet they are?

They are by far your cutest friend, they have the kindest hearts and the best intentions. You ever want to take a really cute photo go to them. Their hearts are massive and always filled with love to give.

9. You always learn something new with them.

Whether it be the name of the red ranger or the newest toy they got they always want to teach you something new which is great, because then you can teach them too! How many 4-year-olds do you know that know what phalanges are? I know one!

10. They'll always love you!

The love of a child is amazing and everlasting! Nephew, niece, brother, sister, son or daughter children have big hearts and will always let you know that.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.
