Days grow cooler, shorter, and you want to shed a tiny tear for the ending of Summer, but the best is yet to come, Autumn. As one of the shorter seasons, we must take advantage of the 89 days we have with glorious apple cider, fashionable vests, and pumpkin carvings. Everything about Fall seems to be a new beginning. This season is like a huge deep breath for Mother Nature, giving all of humanity a sweet melody of Fall.

So, go ahead, admit that it is great, and agree with these ten undeniable reasons that Fall beats every other season.

1. The weather is puuurrrffeeccttt.

Yes, admire the kitten and then realize that you're not sweating bullets from the hot summer sun, and maybe even getting a nice, cool, breeze in the crisp air. The weather truly is not too hot, but not too cold.

2. Fashion climbs to a whole other level of comfort and chic.

Fall calls for an ultimate wardrobe makeover and that effortless, infinity scarf, messy bun look, that every girl loves. Welcome back the boots, fuzzy socks, oversized sweaters, leggings, and flannels.

3. The spectacular scents can make anyone's nose happy.

The cosmetic and candle industry live for this season! Yes, every season has its own distinct smell, but Fall just causes a frenzy! I have Bath & Body Works sales on signature pumpkin items wrote in my planner. From pumpkin pies to leaves to cinnamon, these smells are sure to open up your sinuses and say, "hello it's autumn!"

4. Friday night lights is not just a movie, but a lifestyle.

Football, in general, is the main welcome wagon for this season, whether it be high school, college, or the NFL. The stands become full of super fans, face paint, and leftover popcorn. I'll be cheering on my my home state, Carolina Panthers and UNC Tar Heels, who will you be rooting for?

5. The scenery is pure magic.

The foliage changes to shades of red, orange, yellow, and brown, creating a masterpiece made by God himself. Nature only holds such prestigious and unique beauty during Autumn, quickly dying for the coming of Winter. The leaves are symbolic of life, the cycle of life by the tree of life.

6. Halloween and Thanksgiving dominate the list of holidays.

Christmas gets a lot of hype, but when it comes down to it, both Halloween and Thanksgiving are two awesome holidays. One revolves around dressing up in costume and eating pounds of candy, while the other involves nothing but being gracious and rows and rows of all you can eat food.....just take that all in.

7. The speciality flavored food delicacies are to die for.

Let your mouth water at the sight of pies taking over your grocery store and kitchen counters. Apple picking becomes a normal thing, and with fresh produce comes fresh, delicious food. Fairs come to town and that means deep fried heaven. Oh, and of course, dont forget pumpkin spice EVERYTHING. No need to count calories, this is Fall!

8. All your favorite movies are playing on repeat.

It's time! Set your DVRs for Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, and all the other beloved classics that we dwell in to remind us of our childhoods! Christmas movies will soon follow!

9. The list of things to do goes on and on.

To name a few, campfires and s'mores, haunted houses, hiking trails, pumpkin carving, corn mazes, homecoming, carnivals, scary movies, hayrides! It's impossible to name them all!

10. It's a brand new start.

Fall brings lots of new beginnings, a new school year, a lot of birthdays reside within the fall months, and just brings a cool sense of relief. So, take a deep breath of the crisp autumn air, and enjoy what this season has to offer.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
