For those of you who think that dogs and cats rule the animal kingdom, you have not experienced the greatness that is the duck. For centuries they have been overlooked and not recognized for the badasses they truly are. Here are 10 reasons why we should all appreciate this superior species.

1. They have the most swagger in the animal kingdom.

2. They have been the life of the party for years.

3. Duck mothers are superior to human mothers, they let them go anywhere they want.

4. They are secret spies, because ducks can sleep with half their brains awake and one eye open.

5. You can even walk on them on leashes, and they attract more attention while doing it.

6. They were styling the Manbun before it was popular.

7. Unlike dogs and cats, ducks get along will all species.

8. Ducks are by far the most graceful swimmers.

9. If they were not already cool enough, ducks can walk on water.

10. They have no problem doing whatever they want.

Even if you still do not believe me that ducks should rule the animal kingdom, remember: never underestimate a duck. They disguise how revolutionary they are by being adorable.
