Study abroad is an opportunity that every college student should take advantage of. Navigating a foreign country, learning to make fast (and lasting) friendships, and being really on your own for the first time ever will challenge you in all new and exciting ways. You'll return home feeling like you can take on the world (literally) as though you found some piece of yourself you hadn't known you'd been missing. And even though we all still have our moments of self-doubt and anxiety, you'll always look back on time spent abroad as a reminder of how great it feels to conquer those fears.

If you're deciding where to study abroad next semester or looking to travel somewhere new, here's ten reasons why Ireland is the trip to take:

1. Sunsets make seven-hour flights slightly better.

2. Cobblestones streets require comfortable footwear (any excuse for Converse).

3. Tea is always a good idea, and so is (Irish) coffee.

4. Guinness by the pint and 360° views of Dublin.

5. You'll see rain, shine, and everything in between. P.S. Always pack an umbrella.

6. What the cities lack in height they make up for in color.

7. Life is best lived on the edge.

8. Live music and 'Wonderwall' covers all day, erryday.

9. There's always a chance to take the road less traveled.

10. These are the moments you're going to miss someday.

Anna Kendrick, poor Kristen Stewart, the Queen of England are all life-long sufferers of RBF. Victoria Beckham even made a career out of it! And though it's usually used to describe women, some men are also afflicted. Kanye West is the best example of this.

April Ludgate

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
