FRIENDS is a show that never really goes away. It's just way too good and way too relatable. Honestly, we can relate to all the characters in different ways. They're all hilarious, fun-loving, kind-hearted people that we all wish we could be around all the time. We've laughed with them, cried with them, attended all of Ross's weddings with them. But I want to talk about one particular character that I relate to on a deeper level. This one's for all the Chandler Bings out there: reasons why he is my spirit animal.

1. He has endless jokes.

Whether they're good, bad, inappropriate, or just plain dumb, he never gives up on the jokes. He may be more hilarious to himself than he is to anyone else and that's perfectly okay with him. Jokes are his go to in awkward and uncomfortable situations and his defense mechanism for pushing away feelings...yup, sounds like me.

2. He is honest with himself...

...And everyone else.

Honesty is the best policy according to Mr. Bing. As long as your honest, it's okay if you don't have everything perfectly put together in life. Sometimes being painfully honest is exactly what you need to do to get what you want. Sometimes you're so honest it's embarrassing, but that's okay, your friends appreciate it.

3. He ignores gender stereotypes.

That's right. Chandler Bing is a progressive guy! He doesn't know much about football, he's very sensitive, and he likes bubble baths, but he's still just as much a man as anyone else. He understands that his interests don't define his gender and he's perfectly comfortable with who he is. High five Chandler!

4. He's too hard on himself.

We all experience this sometimes but I feel this on a spiritual level. Chandler hates letting people down and has gone through a lot of life experience that causes him to be very self-critical and sometimes have low self-esteem. But at the end of the day, his loved ones know he is a great person and that he tries so hard be his best.

5. He's a hopeless romantic.

He just wants to be loved and give someone all his love in return. He will literally do anything for the love of his life and he is so appreciative of her. He knows that he's somewhat awkward and a little over sensitive but he has the biggest heart and will never stop showing how much he loves you.

6. He's shameless.

From walking around in a bunny suit to dancing around (ridiculously) in public, there is nothing that can stop him from being himself and making people laugh. Though he's hard on himself, he's not afraid to be exactly who he is.

7. He's passionate.

About everything. His job, his friends, his wife, his jokes. Everything he does, he does passionately and you can tell that he loves all the things and people he surrounds himself with. His passion drives him and sometimes makes him a little crazy, but he fights for what he wants and who he loves.

8. He's over-dramatic.

The smallest things seem like the end of the world to Chandler...

okay, ME.

9. He suffers from anxiety.

This may be the biggest reason I relate to Chandler. He surrounds himself with people he loves that lift him up when he's feeling panicked and he knows that nobody will judge him for feeling a certain way. Talking to members of the opposite sex, confrontation, and many other stressful situations give him anxiety but he does everything he can to stay strong and think positively.

10. He cares so much.

ABOUT EVERYTHING. His friends and loved ones are so important to him and everything going on in their lives is important, even the small things. His jokes are important to him. Peoples' opinions of him (ones that he cares about) are important to him. He's always worried about others and that's what makes him such a great friend.

There's parts of Chandler Bing in all of us. He is a loving, hilarious, hell of a frien,d and he's one of those people you just wanna hold on to. Thank you Chandler for being my spirit animal.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
