So, once all iPhone users (sorry Android lovers) were able to create the term "group text", my friends and I immediately decided to make one. Starting our freshman year and our new sorority, that is when my friends and I created our first group text in college. Since then, we have shared endless laughs, inside jokes, and plenty of secrets via this little message. It has reached the point that these girls know more about me than myself, maybe even a little too much. Here are some instances when you and your group text have become close, maybe even too close. Maybe at some point becoming the same person.
1. There isn't a day that goes by without every member replying in it, and if they don't, you almost send a search warrant out for them.
2. You all track each other's location at all times, even when you're just bored lying in bed.
3. If one person decides to leave the group, then s**t hits the fan.
4. Multiple people send the same screenshot or text within seconds of each other because you pretty much share the same brains.
5. You have at least 200 pictures in the camera roll and you would either get locked away or want to get locked away if anyone decided to look through them.
6. The name of your group text only makes sense to you and the members only (and sometimes this could get you into trouble).
7. There's always someone there if you need a ride, no matter how early in the morning it could be.
8. There's always that one person who continues talking, even though no one responds because she knows we're still listening.
9. When you don't go out that one night and they do and you know you're going to wake up with 50, maybe even 100+, of the most entertaining texts you've ever received.
10. And finally, when you know at least one person will always be down to grab food with you.
