1. Every time you're driving, even if it's just to move your car thirty feet, you will think of the accident.

2. Whenever something about the day of the accident comes up in your present life, whether it's where you were during the accident or the food you ate that day or even what you were doing that day, you will relive the entire accident. It can be something as simple as wearing the sweatshirt you wore that day that will trigger a flashback to the accident.

3. News stories on car accidents will be something that you unconsciously pay the most attention to, and every time you hear about a car accident, you will automatically wish and pray that things turn out okay for everyone involved.

4. If someone close to you gets in an accident, your hands will shake and your heart will race until you know for sure that they're okay.

5. Whenever there's a 'close call' when you're driving, you will have a take a deep breath and remind yourself: you're okay, you're okay, you're okay.

6. The first time you drive after the accident will be the hardest.

7. When the date of the accident rolls around every year, you'll go through the entire day thinking "oh, I was doing this at that time on that day"–and you will remember every last detail of that day.

8. If your accident isn't so bad, people might joke about 'the time you wrecked your car', and you might go along with it, but inside all you feel is anxiety because of what could have been if you weren't so lucky.

9. Every time you relive the accident, you will always think of the 'what ifs' and be thankful for the fact that they didn't happen.

10. The accident will not define you, but it will shape you in ways that you don't anticipate.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
