Winter is the death of us all.
The beautiful fall leaves are gone, and its time to whip out the winter jackets and gloves. With the coming of snow comes many different emotions and reactions but there's nothing we can do to keep the snow from coming.
If you're from Michigan, you can relate to these reactions with the winter months approaching:
1. "Where's my vacation home in Florida?"
Because snow isn't any fun unless you're five years old again. There isn't anything fun about driving in the snow, falling in the snow, or just being cold in general.
2. Saying prayers for those traveling in the snow.
The only thing on people's mind when you get into your vehicle is, "please let me get there alive." This video is of the 150 car pile up from January of last year, which I was reminded after the 30-40 pile up on I-75 the other day. Stay safe.
3. F*ck yeah! No mosquitoes!
Because that's literally the only thing great about winter.
4. Cringing when you look out the window in the morning before having to go to work.
5. Trying to find all the layers you possibly can before you leave the house.
6. When you take the first step outside.
FML FML FML FML FML FML. I got snow in my shoe.
7. When there's 7 feet of snow and they still won't cancel class.
I might die on my way to class but that's okay because at least I'll be educated when it happens!
8. When you only have to go outside for a little bit so you don't wear a coat.
9. "Can you shovel the driveway?"
10. But most of all, you try to tell yourself...
Because no matter how cold it gets or how much snow there is outside, work and school aren't going to magically disappear. Try to make the best of it and maybe your winter won't be so miserable.
Or try to move to the Carribean...
