Life is constantly a struggle with highs and lows. We celebrate our achievements and take our losses hard. When the going gets tough, we need words of reassurance that will lift us up again and make us feel like everything is okay.

1.

Some days it is a struggle to find the good and to be happy. It feels like the world is against you, but keep this quote in mind. Just because the day isn’t good, doesn’t mean that there aren’t good things existing in it.

2.

There are times when it’s hard to stand up for yourself and fight against the grain. Just remember, that’s how we move forward. That’s how we become special, and it’s better to be special, and stand out, than to hide amongst the masses.

3. I know that there have been times when I feel the weight of my mistakes heavy on my shoulders. People see them and we are judged upon them. We need to understand that we are more than those mistakes. They do not determine our self-worth and we are better than them. They don’t need to define us.

4.

Do not doubt yourself now. You have worked hard to make it this far and it might have been a struggle. You are worth every breath of life within you because you have fought in some way or another to be here today. You are special and you have a purpose.

5.

There are a lot of reasons that you may be down. Despite those reasons, remember that you decide how you are feeling and how your day goes. Choose to try and be happy. Make that effort to put your best foot forward and try to see the best in people and situations. You will surely have a better outlook.

6.

Do not give up hope that things will get better. Things will get recover and if they are taking longer than expected, there’s probably a reason behind it. Take it in stride and try to improve yourself. It may seem like a cliché thing to say, but never give up.

7.

As people, we tend to look down upon and be upset about the struggles/bad things that happen in life. If you’re down, look at it positively if possible. Things are a struggle, but now you know better and you are overcoming it. Don’t let it be as negative as it can be.

8.

This quote says it all. Yes, when things take a sour turn, especially when you could have helped lessen that blow, we can be and are hard on ourselves. With that being said, don’t be too hard. Our mistakes move us and they are there to help us learn. If you are trying and giving it your best, that’s all that matters.

9.

This quote from Jack Canfield is an important one to remember. When life gets hard, we need the support to help us through it. Always strive to have that support system in your life and be one for others. It doesn’t have to be your family. Either way, find someone, or find it in yourself, to believe in you and be supportive. Celebrate your victories and keep moving forward.

10.

Do something that is going to make you happy and will make you feel fulfilled. We may be struggling, but we do not need to let that consume us. We determine what is best for us and in order to make ourselves better, we need to do things that make us feel complete, whole, and happy. No matter what you are facing, take time, even if it’s just a little bit, to make yourself better.
