Does anyone else get really motivated by inspirational quotes? No matter how cheesy and cliche they always spark my interest and I end up scrolling through Pinterest for hours. Wait maybe they aren't as motivational as I thought if I'm spending hours on Pinterest. Anyways, whenever I'm stress about school or graduating or just life in general I always look at these quotes to shine some light on my cloudy days.

1. "If you really want to do something you'll find a way, if you don't you'll find an excuse." – Jim Rohn

This is how I feel when I think to myself how busy I was and that's why I didn't do my homework. There's always a way and if not there's a way to get over the consequences.

2. "Choose a job you love, & you will never have to work a day in your life. – Confucius

This quote helps me out when I start stressing about getting a job and making money.

3."STOP looking back!!!! When your past calls do NOT pick up!! it has nothing new to say." – Rev Run

This can pertain to many different things, one thing could be an Ex, they are an Ex for a reason!! Simple as that.

4. "You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." – Zig Ziglar

If you're even scared of doing something because you don't think you'll be good at it, well how do you think people get good at things? It may seem like it comes easier to some people but they have to work at is a much as the rest of us.

5. "If you're never scared or embarrassed or hurt, it means you never take any chances." – Julia Sorel

I see this as being yourself, do what you want and love who you want if anyone tells you that you can't do something cause you're not good enough bye bye so long, see you never!!

6. "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." -Neal Donald Walsch

If you're not scared the majority of the time are you really living? Don't let looks fool you we all are, no matter how put together you seem I know you're scared just like the rest of us.

7. "Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." – Mark Twain

As much as it may seem that the world is out to get you I promise you its not. Things happen and that's just life.

8. "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." – Winston Churchill

I can't count how many times I've failed, and yes in the moment it doesn't feel too hot but the coolest thing is figuring out why it happened that way. When something happens that upsets you the best feeling is finding out later down the road why it happened and how you wouldn't be the person you are today.

9. "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller

This is the truest thing I've ever read. At the end of the day having nice things or lots of money is meaningless if you aren't surrounded with people who truly make you happy.

10. "Everything happens for a reason"

This is the most simple and overheard quote out there but I believe that it is the most powerful one. There is a reason for the bad things that happen in you're life no matter how much you can't wrap your head around it there will be a reason that will make everything clear.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
