I know that even though it's only April, the new year and all that it has brought us can put some weight on our shoulders already. Do not fear though, we'll get through this together. I believe in you. Until the miracle strength comes, here are some quotes to lift your spirits in the mean time.

1.) "Have courage and be kind."

2.) "It has been a beautiful fight; still is."

3.) "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on."

4.) "We are all a little broken, but last time I checked, broken crayons still color the same."

5.) "A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are built for."

6.) "Don't stop until you're proud."

7.) "You are capable of more than you know."

8.) "Listen to the mustn'ts child, listen to the don'ts, listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me- anything can happen child, anything can be." (This is one of my all time favorites.)

9.) "You have to be odd to be number one."

10.) "Be gentle with yourself, you're doing the best you can."

I believe in you, now all you have to do is believe in yourself. If you're feeling down, that feeling won't last forever. For those who are stressed to the max, everything will turn out just fine and everything will calm down. Everything will work itself out I promise. Don't worry, everything will be okay.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
