1. Why do we have two mascots?

As much as I love Louis the Judge and Ollie the Owl, it’s pretty hard to explain to any non-Brandeis student as to why we have two mascots.

2. Why do I always feel tired walking up and down the Rabb steps?

*pants* Am I really that unfit?

3. Why is there no pork in the regular, non-kosher section of the dining halls?

I miss bacon.

4. Why do we always seem to have a lack of cutlery in Sherman?

We really need to talk about the number of times we resorted to eating with plastic forks and knives in the dining hall.

5. Will you ever officially recognize Greek life?

I personally am not involved in Greek life, but seriously, it’s about time.

6. Is it really normal to graduate college with three majors and two minors?

I just want to make sure I won’t be the only person outside of Brandeis with more than a major and a minor.

7. Why is the wifi always lagging?

Please, on behalf of all students, let me stream Netflix without the “no Internet connection” message.

8. Why can’t we have our spring break in March?

I just want to see my friends from home.

9. Will you (and the rest of the world) still love me when I become full-on 'Deisian?

Just curious.

10. Can I live in the Brandeis bubble forever?

Even though I will always call Brandeis “my super weird school,” I can’t imagine going to college anywhere else.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
