10 Questions That Demand Answers In The "Gilmore Girls" Revival

After years of speculation and much-awaited anticipation, "Gilmore Girls" is, in fact, coming back thanks to our good friend, Netflix. The news of the reboot is exciting and much needed as with news of other shows like "The X-Files" and "Coach" being brought back by popular demand. "Gilmore Girls"was due for its reboot as there are so many unanswered questions that can now be put to rest.

1. Where are all of our favorite couples?

Luke and Lorelai are the obvious question as the majority of season seven had them separated instead of together, and it’s going to be great to see whether they got married or had children of their own together. But it’s not just about them! Did Lane and Zack ever have more kids? Did Kirk and Lulu ever get married? Are Babette and Morey still as kooky and in love as we remember? There’s a lot to fill us in on, from the newer couples to the existing ones we always cherished.

2. What is Rory up to and will she be in a relationship?

Last time we checked, she was off to work on Obama’s presidential campaign. Is she still in journalism or did she delve more into politics? Or better yet, a completely unrelated area that she’s actually a lot better in? Love Rory, but girl could not handle criticism. And when we find out what Rory’s up to do these days, will she be with someone? Let’s face it, it’s 2015, she doesn’t need to be as she’s still pretty young. Plus, she’s always fared better when she’s focused on a school or her career. But with a lot of her plots centered on her lovers in the past, it seems very likely that they’ll bring someone else in. Making a likable guy for Rory in just four episodes however, will be tricky.

3. Will a new Emily Gilmore change the dynamic of her relationship with Lorelai?

With the passing of Edward Herman who played Richard on the show, his character’s departure will have to be brought into the mix resulting in a widowed Emily. With her character on the show insisting that she be the one to go first, his absence will no doubt affect her hard. But will this bring her and Lorelai even closer together and start to get them to bond more? Lorelai has always been able to bring out the more daring and carefree side in her, so it will be interesting to see how their relationship develops.

4. Will Hep Alien live on?

Comprised of Lane and Zack, as well as their fellow friends and Stars Hollow residents Gil and Brian, the band was the focus of a lot of plot points, especially in moving Lane’s character arch forward. Are they still together, and will we be fortunate to see one of their rehearsals or shows?

5. Has anyone died?

This is a morbid, but valid question. Will they kill anyone off? And will it be for the advancement of the series or simply because they couldn’t get the actor to come back? It has been awhile and some of the characters would certainly be getting up there in age. Not to mention "Gilmore Girls" has covered episodes of recurring characters dying before like Fran, the owner of the bakery in Stars Hollow and Trix, Richard’s mother. Only time will tell.

6. What kind of fabulous adventures has Ms. Patty been up to?

Without a doubt, Ms. Patty is still boozing, smoking and running the gossip mill in Stars Hollow. We’ll be curious to see what sorts of new stories she’ll have to be bragging about now that the show is being brought into modern day. Will she be bragging about how she once danced with a young Bradley Cooper at a bar, or that she was asked to bring her one-woman show for a limited engagement in New York? Rest assured, it will be fabulous.

7. Will we see Michel find some happiness?

Season after season, we never really got much background on Michel and what his ambitions were. He was always there to offer a sly remark or deal with whatever tasks Sookie and Lorelai needed to be done. He deserves some growth whether it is marriage and children or just that he has a ton more dogs now.

8. Will we see the same Paris we know and love?

Although not a Stars Hollow resident, Paris was a crucial character to the show as Rory’s enemy turned best friend, who was always good for a sarcastic remark and a dose of brutal honesty. Last time we saw her, she was off to medical school, with her boyfriend, Doyle, not too far behind. It’s possible they’ve gotten married and maybe even had children. In either of those cases, will these events bring out a different side to the Paris we’ve cherished over the years?

9. Will we finally meet Mr. Kim?

This has always been a long-running joke in the fandom, but will we ever truly get to know the answer? If he’s been hiding under the floorboards of the Kim household this whole time, or was never even around to begin with? Mrs. Kim definitely knows, Lane might have some idea, but I think we deserve some solidification once and for all. Especially given that Lane’s now had grandchildren who are growing up now. Will a family reunion finally come together?

10. And the biggest question: Will we finally hear the infamous last four words?

Since the creator of the series, Amy-Sherman Palladino, didn’t work on the final season of the show she didn’t get to do her ending which she teased she had down to the last four words. Considering the time jump and that events from season seven will still have to be taken into account, will we even get to hear those words brought to life on screen? It may not work depending on where these characters are right now as it could have been the wrapping up of a loose end between Luke and Lorelai or Rory and Lorelai, which we received at the end of season seven. Will we finally get to know, and will it even make sense?

Whatever ends up happening, get excited because "Gilmore Girls" is coming back!

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.

I've known you your entire life. More than likely I held you in the first three days of it and at least one of us cried. Cousins are truly one of the best things in the world and while sometimes I complain about how many people crowd Grandma's living room on Christmas Eve, I wouldn't trade you all anything.

You are my best friends, the only people who can understand what it's like on Thanksgiving, and you are the spunkiest people I have ever met. But you as so so young, most of you are just now starting your adventures in the public education system. I mean, I'm so very young too. I'm not married, I don't have children, heck, I just started my adult life, but I do want to give you what little advice I have. My dears, these are the things I want you to know.
