Some people are really lucky. They have the artistic gene. They paint. They draw. They design. But if you're like me, you're lucky if your name looks pretty when you write it. But have no fear, there are some DIY projects out there for our kind. Projects that are actually rather simple and will look like a professional made them, when in reality you did. For more information on each craft, click on the respective picture.

1. Popsicle Stick Frames

These picture frames simply require Popsicle sticks and Washi Tape. Then you can use magnets, wood chips, or just about anything else to decorate. The frames make for a perfect gift, or great decoration for one's own place. You could also attach a magnet on the back to put on a fridge.

2. Abstract Painting. . . With a Water Gun :)

Now I know this website says this project is for kids, but if you're feeling creative and don't really have a project in mind, this is the way to go. Mix and match colors while improving your aim. It's a win-win. All you need is some paint, some water guns, watercolor paper, and an easel or something to hang the paper on. Then you can go to town becoming an abstract painter.

3. Patriotic Wreath

Wanna show your patriotism? Not sure how to do so without copying everyone else? Well, here's a craft for you. Get some paint, some clothes pins, the wire wreath frame, and some stars and you're set to craft!

4. Rustic Twig Frame

For this project, you'll need a picture frame, some twigs, craft adhesive, and some decorations if you like, such as the flowers and moss shown in the image provided. Simply choose some branches from your backyard or head to your local craft store. Then cut your twigs to your liking and glue them to the frame. It's that easy!

5. Rustic Candle Holders

To go right along with your twig frame, you could make twig candle holders applying the same concepts. Simply collect your twigs, candle holder, and adhesive and away you go.

6. Yarn Monogrammed Letter

This project requires very little material-wise. You simply need yarn, glue and a letter. Maybe decor such as the flowers, if you want it. To make this craft, you simply wrap the yarn around the letter until you reach the point where you'd like to switch colors or hit the end of the letter. The glue is used at the top and bottom of the letter to secure the ends of the yarn.

7. Bottle Flowers on a Tree

Now this website is in another language; however, that doesn't take away from the simplicity of this project. You simply require a canvas, paint and paint brush for your branches, and then paint, a bottle, and a paper plate for your flowers.

8. Garden Art Lighthouse

To create these lighthouses, you need flower pots of different sizes to build the tiers, to spruce the pots up, an adhesive to hold everything together, a lamp/candle for the light, and a saucer to put the lamp on. And ta-da! you have created a lighthouse.

9. Flip Flop Welcome

The website with this image is Etsy, so that means the creator is selling this door art, rather than teaching how to make it. But I think it can't be that hard. All you need is some flip flops, fabric to hang and connect the shoes, paint for the letters, and some minor decoration pieces such as the butterflies.

10. Word Play in a Frame

As an English Major, I absolutely love any play on words and this one in particular makes me giddy. Now in the sample image, we see Daddy and Daughter being played with and a picture in the frame. But you're not limited to simply that. All you need is a frame and scrabble letters and your possibilities are endless. I've seen plays on mother, father, brother, sister, friend, and more. It just takes an idea and you can do anything your heart desires.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
