Eat, sleep, sports, classes, repeat. So much is happening to college athletes through out the year that it is crazy to even believe they are still alive. Remember that nice little break you got during the off-season? Prepare for the worst because these 10 problems are what you and your teammates will face when you have to get back into the routine.

1. Being sore every single day

You think walking up those flights of stairs is hard to get to your room? Wait until you're sore...the pain never ends!

2. Having practice over a long weekend

No breaks for you! You work hard during that weekend and though you planned on BSing it but you knew it won't fly with your coach.

3. Lecture on eating healthy

You think you're going to be living off that salad bar for the rest of the season but what is really going to happen is you will consume 4 cheeseburgers, 2 plates of fries, along with desert in the hour you have after practice...

4. You will only ever have time for sports and school work

You think you are going to have that extra time to hang out with friends but if you want to play and graduate, say goodbye to social life!

5. The feeling you get when you finally get that day off

You are going to relax and live a normal life for that one day and you will savor it till your 24 hours is up!

6. For all my winter sports...Winter

I am a swimmer so my season is during the winter...you try going to practice and jumping into that cold water. It's a b**** walking to the gym/pool.

7. Recruiting

The fact that you have to act like you are not dying inside because you're coach is watching you is the worst. You hurt and you always give that recruite the stare that says, "get out while you still can!"

8. You will always have friends that aren't in sports complain about how much work they have to do.

Not trying to sound like you aren't stressed out or anything but... you try practicing for 2 hours and then try to keep a 3.5 GPA!

9. When coach increases the weight limit in the gym.

That moment will make you regret your decision of ever becoming a college athlete.

10. For my ladies out there...periods.

Cramps, fatigue, tired 24/7, blood going everywhere if you don't wear the right kind of product. It's just a nasty time for all of us...but we have to remember we all have that one girl on our team with just enough pads and tampons to last through the whole season. So if you forget some, she has it.

If any of you college athletes do not relate to any of this...what are you doing during the season? I wish I couldn't relate to any of these 10 problems every day. But hey, I chose this life right? For all you athletes out there, just remember you can get through the hard times and there will always be a tomorrow to try again!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
