Growing up, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon were the most popular kid-friendly TV channels in the entertainment industry. These TV shows were a huge part of my childhood and maybe yours too. Now it seems as if kids today are occupied by social media and their iPhones. I It makes me sad that the younger generation doesn't know about these shows; they have no idea what they missed out on.

Here are ten of the most popular Disney shows from the 2000's.

1. "That's So Raven"

"That's so Raven; it's the future I can see". Watch as Raven uses her visions to try and change the outcome of certain aspects of her life.

2. "Hannah Montana"

Miley's double life as Hannah Montana is trickier to live than we thought.

3. "Kim Possible"

Kim takes the world by storm as she travels around to defeat evil villains with the help of Ron and Rufus!

4. "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody"

Ever wanted to know what it was like to have a twin... and live in a hotel? Zack and Cody show you just what it's like.

5. "Even Stevens"

Making weird inventions and fighting with his sister... sounds like the typical brother/sister relationship to me!

6. "Life With Derek"

It's never easy when your step-siblings move in. Casey shows you what it's like to adjust in a not-so-simple situation

7. "The Proud Family"

The Proud Family is just your average American family with a dad who loves to embarrass his children. Sounds like my dad!

8. "Phil of The Future"

Phil gets stuck in the 21st century after he had been living in the future. Watch as he tried to figure out the 21st century "way of life".

9. "Recess"

Just a group of friends showing the drama, fun, and difficulties of school.

10. "Lizzie McGuire"

Middle school, mean girls, and two great best friends.

If you never watched these shows, you missed out on a huge and wonderful part of your childhood. Nothing on TV today will ever compare to the cheesy comedy of the old Disney Channel. Now if only Disney Channel would do a throwback Thursday... I think that's every early 2000's kid's dream. #BringBackTheOldDisney!

I'm sure, like me, many of you received lots of gift cards over the holidays. After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. 5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
