Gender is a complicated topic, as some people believe it's set in stone, where as others believe gender is a spectrum. Whatever you believe, there is no denying that certain products are gendered, usually unnecessarily. Though some products are biologically needed for just women or just men, here are some products that are for everyone but are gendered by the colors pink and blue:

1. Sprinkles

Because girls aren't allowed to prefer the color blue.

2. Goldfish

The pink background, the crown, and the eyelashes on the fish. I wonder if this product is for girls?

3. Pens

As if I can't hold a pen that's not pink?

4. Toolkit

God forbid I use a hammer that was blue! Those are only for men!

5. Beer

I don't know what I would've drank if someone didn't create this product. You know, because Corona and Coors are specifically made for men.

6. Laxatives

Because apparently men and women poop differently

7. Yogurt

Don't know what John would've done if he ate that Yoplait.

8. Sunscreen

Thank you, Banana Boat. Women didn't watch UV protection anyway.

9. Tape

Clear. Tape. Why?

10. Cheese

Monterey Jack and Monterey Jill. How clever! Also notice that the women's product is reduced fat. I love conforming to gender roles!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
