1. Grand Central Market.
Even though the market only appears for a split second during Mia and Sebastian’s dating montage, it’s worth pointing out purely for all of the delicious food that can be found inside.
2. Colorado Street Bridge.
Who can forget about the beautifully-lit bridge that Sebastian and Mia walk down during one of their dates? Well… actually, a lot of people can forget, since it’s not that important. But it’s a pretty nice bridge that gives you a pretty nice view of Pasadena, especially at sunset. What’s not to like?
3. Angels Flight.
Although Mia and Sebastian ride this funicular in the movie, it has actually been closed since 2013. However, it’s still a fun L.A. landmark to visit.
4. Griffith Park.
Of course, I had to include Griffith Park, the place where Sebastian and Mia first dance their problems away. The popular tap scene featuring Emma Stone’s blazing yellow dress was filmed at Cathy’s Corner, off of Mt. Hollywood Drive, in case you wanted to reenact the moment.
5. Griffith Observatory.
If you want to end a date on a really high note, take them to Griffith Observatory and waltz around the planetarium until you’re literally floating in the air. Just kidding, but the observatory does have a pretty spectacular view of Los Angeles.
6. Watts Tower.
Again, this destination was not featured in the movie for a long period of time—it’s one of the places that Mia and Sebastian stop at for a split second. But just look at it! How am I not supposed to bring it up?
7. “You Are The Star” mural.
This mural serves as the exterior to the restaurant where Sebastian was fired in the beginning of the movie. Although the mural is actually painted on the outside of a theater instead of a restaurant, it’s still a pretty cool painting to check out.
8. Hermosa Beach Pier.
I had to include the most iconic moment of the movie, where Sebastian strolls down the pier whistling and singing “City of Stars.”
9. The Lighthouse Café.
This is the place Sebastian takes Mia to convince her that jazz is, in fact, the best music of all time. While you might not find Ryan Gosling hanging around, it’s still a pretty cool place to hang out.
10. Warner Bros. Studios.
Even though the coffee shop Mia worked at was fake, the studio was real. Warner Bros. Studio is the best place to visit if you’re looking to get a behind-the-scenes look of popular shows and movies.
