Welcome to Cleveland! From July 18-21, the Republican National Convention will be in town and Cleveland will be attracting thousands of visitors. The whole atmosphere in and around Cleveland will definitely be exciting. If you are new to the area, the following 10 places are great spots to check out. From museums to parks and great restaurants, exploring Cleveland is always an adventure. Whatever you decide to do in Cleveland, you will not be disappointed. The people of Cleveland are very excited and proud to welcome you for the week!

1. Cleveland Script Sign

This sign can be found in three different locations around Cleveland. Just be photo ready, as this will certainly make a great Instagram post. Here are the locations:

1. Edgewater Park Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, Cleveland, OH 44102

2. North Coast Harbor 1001 E. 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44114

3. Tremont 1430 Abbey Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113

2. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

If you are a music fan, this is definitely the place to go. Not only does the museum have great exhibits, but if you pay attention to the building, you will see that it is designed to look like a record player.

3. Playhouse Square

Being a musical fan myself, Playhouse Square is the perfect place to catch your favorite shows. And the iconic chandelier is a must see.

4. Cleveland Museum of Art

If art is your passion, then you should definitely visit the Cleveland Museum of Art. With free admission (with the exception of special exhibitions), it really is a must see during the busy week.

5. Great Lakes Science Center

If you are more interested in science, then a stop at the Great Lakes Science Center should be at the top of your list. Equally fun and educational.

6. Cleveland Metroparks

If you are more adventurous and want to dive right into nature, then visiting any of the many parks around Cleveland, is right up your alley. Having visited Rocky River Reservation last year, I can tell you that each trip leaves you in awe of your surroundings.

7. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a perfect stop for any family wanting to get out of downtown Cleveland. Just be sure to take a lot of pictures.

8. Little Italy

One of the most iconic destinations for food in Cleveland, Little Italy is a must see. Not only is the food sensational, but the whole neighborhood is perfect for a relaxing trip.

9. Great Lakes Brewing Company

If you come to Cleveland, Great Lakes Brewing Company is a perfect stop. Honestly, it speaks for itself and will not leave you feeling disappointed.

10. West Side Market

The West Side Market may be one of my favorite stops. Being from Chicago, I can say that this stop is unique to Cleveland. Every trip is truly an adventure, filled with all kinds of sights and smells.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
