Florida is the place to be for college students across the nation in summertime due to the beautiful beaches, amusement parks and fantastic weather. Here are some places to visit for your summer vacation in the Sunshine State.

If you're looking for a scenic place to take beautiful pictures at sunset, see wildlife, take airboat rides, or just appreciate the Earth's natural beauty, take a trip down to the Everglades which is conveniently open 24/7.

2. Captiva Island, Fort Meyers FL

Looking for a beach that's beautiful but also isn't as crowded as Daytona, Clearwater, or Cocoa? Look no further than Captiva Island to experience beautiful white sandy beaches and a natural Florida coastline.

3. Devil's Den Spring, Williston FL

Located near the University of Florida, this spring is open to the public for scuba diving and snorkeling every day of the week. Devil's Den is underground which makes the experience even more memorable!

4. International Mango Festival, Miami FL

Every year, Miami celebrates the king of tropical fruit with cooking demonstrations from local chefs, artisan vendors, and fresh fruit. This two day festival has face painting, a beer garden, and many more activities for the whole family to enjoy.
