10 Places Everyone Should Visit

The world is a big place with endless sights to see. It can be overwhelming to think of all the amazing locations worth visiting, let alone trying to find the time to visit all of them. There are blogs, and Pinterest boards, and magazines dedicated to all the places that people should visit throughout the world. I’ve narrowed down ten of many that are places not everyone would think to add to their list. These places definitely stand apart from the touristy areas that are part of most people’s must-see locations.

1. Giant’s Causeway

Located in Northern Ireland, this coastline is made up of interlocking columns that create a path that look straight out of Jack and the Giant Beanstalk.

2. Pebble Shore Lake

You don’t have to venture too far from home to find beautiful locations. Located right here in the United States, Montana, this colorful shoreline and picturesque backdrop make you feel like you’ve traveled to an exotic locale.

3. Emerald Pool in Zion National Park

Another dream like location in the United States is this pool in Utah. As if the water wasn’t breathtaking enough it is surrounded by the curves of a majestic looking mountain.

4. Isle of Skye, Scotland

Between the ominous mountains looming in the distance and the fog hanging low across the landscape, this looks like a still from a dark mythical land. Even so, this scenery is stunning with the vibrant green peeking through the fog.

5. The Fairy Pools, Scotland

Scotland is another locale that is full of stunning scenery. These pools and waterfall backdrop are fit the name of ‘fairy pools’ looking like a mythical land.

6. Valley of Fire State Park

Located in Nevada, this scenery looks like a flame engulfed mountain making you feel superhuman for walking on fire. Pretty fitting for this supernatural looking setting.

7. Lago di Garda, Italy

These rustic streets look like a scene from a Shakespeare play. Something about the balconies and lively plants flowing from the windows make this feel like such a soothing and romantic location.

8. Hosier Lane, Australia

There are many amazing things in Melbourne, but one of the coolest places to visit is Hosier Lane, full of graffiti art. The artists cover the walls with meaningful messages and beautiful art that is worth the trip to see.

9. Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, Fiji

Whether it’s the stunning architecture, cultural history, or the religious energy of the temple, this is a stunning place to visit. The vivid colors look straight out of storybook.

10. The Auckland Sky Tower, New Zealand

To conclude this list, the Auckland Sky Tower seems like a touristy location in the city, but is worth the visit. The breathtaking view spans over the entire city making you feel like you’re on top of the world.

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
