10 Pinterst Quotes To Live By

Raise your hand if you're a Pinterst user! Yeah thats right, I see you guy in the back, raise that hand higher! If you aren't a user then I'm sure you have at least heard of this idea sharing and though provoking social media platform. As a fashion lover, wedding dress obsessed, food porn loving millennial girl I use Pinterst on the daily. One of my favorite categories to search is 'Quotes'. My board “Words to live by” has 429 pins of pure inspiration and reminders for me to read when I need that little extra push. I thought I’d share with you the words I try to live by everyday.

1.

No they do not! If something scares you..GOOD. That means once you decide to jump into the pool of fear, you’ll emerge stronger than ever before. Take opportunities. Take chances. Don’t hide in your comfort box all day! That's no fun! Take a leap of faith every once in awhile. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself.

2.

I am in love with this quote. I am a firm believer in the compliment and I don’t think we do it enough. Tell that girl you think she’s pretty or that you like her shoes. Tell your teammates nice job. Tell someone on the subway they have a beautiful smile or compliment their taste in books. Compliment yourself. One of my teachers would always make us say 5 nice things about someone for every one mean thing we said. Even if they weren't in the room to hear it we’d have to say them. I can’t thank that teacher enough. If you see something you like in someone, tell them. You just might make their day.

3.

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Possessing the ability to put yourself in others shoes and understand that everyone has different views on life is vital to creating happy and healthy relationships. Once you switch your mind to see in dual perspective you’ll notice a difference in the way people you encounter respond and react to you. Situations will become easier and your relationships will become stronger. Try it.

4.

You are living, life is messy and we’re all human. Things aren’t always going to go your way. You’re going to be emotional. You’re going to cry at spilt milk and some days you aren’t going to feel as confident as you know you are. Life is messy and so are we. Once you learn to accept the fact that perfect doesn't exist, you’ll be able to accept yourself.

5.

In five years, is it really going to matter if you wore that same shirt to the party this weekend that you did last weekend? No! It doesn't matter as much as you think it does. Don’t let the little things in life get you down.

6.

Once you do this, life becomes a whole new world.

7.

Trust your gut. And your mom...always trust your mom.

8.

Hard work is the secret to being successful. You can’t go through life thinking you’re going to take the easy way out and sit on your butt playing video games all day. No sir, you won’t get anything without a goal, sweat and a little motivation. Always work hard and you'll go far.

9.

My girl Amy Poehler knows whats up. More often than not, when something heart shattering happens to us we tend to curl up in our own little mind cocoon and become proficient at shielding off any outside contaminants that may shatter us further. It’s okay to let your heart be broken for a while but you can’t mend it on your own. Let others in, they will help.

10.

Above all, be kind.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
