Drexel University's Leonard Pearlstein Gallery is currently showing Caroline Lathan-Stiefel's solo exhibition “Warp+Weft.”
Lathan-Stiefel was born in Atlanta and received her undergraduate degree in Visual Arts from Brown University in 1989. She obtained her master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Maine College of Art in 2001.
Her "large-scale, immersive sculptural installations play with weight and mass, creating pattern, color, and light from everyday materials" including an old coffee table that her dog chewed up.
