A Jesuit education is one unlike any other. It allows students to learn more about themselves while helping the world through service and fighting for justice. But we are so much more than that, and many people don't know the other perks of going to a Jesuit University.

1. Jesuit puns

Jesu-what?!

2. Getting close to Jesuit priests

Because they’re truly the big men on campus.

3. We all get to work our core (curriculum).

You know more about theology and philosophy than any of your friends at state schools.

4. Our campuses look like Hogwarts

We’re just lacking the flying brooms and the owls.

5. Everyone is extremely nice.

Need help with something? Don’t worry, everyone on campus has got you covered.

6. The reputation

Holy crap, you go to a Jesuit University?!

7. Sports

I swear, everyone is super athletic.

8. We’ve got the big names down.

St. Ignatius? Check. St. Xavier? Check. John Carroll? Got it.

9. We got the mottoes down, too.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, am I right?

10. Connections with other Jesuit universities around the world

Yeah, we’ve got a pretty big community.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
