Ocean City, Maryland is one of the most popular places to vacation if you're from this area. If you've been to OCMD, you've been to the boardwalk at least once during your stay. The boardwalk is full of a wide variety of individuals from all walks of life, and some are just a little strange. If you have ever been to Ocean City, Maryland here are 10 people you may have noticed during your visit.

1. A couple wearing matching shirts so that you know they're together.

We've all seen that couple that wears the "he's mine, she's mine" shirts. You know they're not afraid to show their love for each other through a t-shirt. Along with these shirts, there are also the "best buds" shirts for the average stoner, the "she thinks I'm crazy" and the "I know she's crazy" and also the "bff" shirts for young girls who know they're gonna be friends forever so they need a shirt that says so.

2. The Polish Water Ice workers.

"Free samples!"

3. The guy carrying around a huge stuffed animal that he won for his girlfriend.

This poor guy was probably peer-pressured into winning a stuffed animal for his girlfriend or kid and ended up spending all the vacation money on the claw machine.

4. The old man wearing some outrageous outfit.

Most of the time, these guys are cool and will let you take pictures with them as this guy did, and they don't give a d*mn what anyone thinks. They're just here to be them and have a good time like the rest of us.

5. The bikers.

They don't care where you are on the boardwalk, but you best believe if you don't get out of their way, they will run you over.

6. The Scopes workers.

These are the good-looking people that run up and down the beach all day and are incredibly in shape. It's annoying having them come up and ask if you want your pictures taken when the prices are outrageous anyway, but part of you doesn't mind because you know the Scopes dude is nice to look at.

7. The bubble blower.

The bubble blower is the worker who normally stands outside of one of the hundreds of stores that sells the printed t-shirts. They get paid to blow bubbles at your face all day.

8. The street performers.

Spongebobs, Mickey Mouses, Elsas, artists, musicians and the creepy people who are spray-painted metallic and don't move a muscle the entire time they are performing just so they can get your spare change.

9. The drunks.

We've all seen the drunks on the boardwalk. Most of the time they are just coming back from Seacrets or some other bar and they really are trying their hardest for you to not think they are plastered, but they really are and can't hold their sh*t together.

10. The child that has an annoying toy instrument.

I don't even have to say what sound these make because if you've been on the boardwalk you already know that you can't go anywhere on the boardwalk without hearing the sound of a small child making the most annoying sound known to mankind.

So, the next time you visit Ocean City, Maryland, be on the lookout for these people and enjoy the beach!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
