10 People In Your Group Text

It goes down in the GM.

10 People In Your Group Text

No two friend groups are the same, but everyone can relate to the craziness that occurs between your best friends in your GM. It probably started out as a GM for Spring Break, or your trip for the 4th of July, but it has amounted to this significant group message that you are constantly shit talking in. Plans are made, people are roasted, and shots are fired, but the good news? It's all out of love. Here's the 10 types of people everyone has in their GM:

1. The one who cant quit roasting.

You've got the one who tries really hard to roast everyone, but the punch lines are never actually funny.

You also have the one who chimes in at the most random times and will just rock your world with one response.

2. The one who only responds when it's convenient for them.

You ask them for help moving into your new apartment, or with your homework, or to be a DD... no response. BUT, when someone says something about plans, they're the first person to reply. #fake

3. The ghost.

This is the person that keeps up with everything being said in the GM, but they never actually respond to anything... wait, who even knows if they read it because they don't respond!!! "Who even are you?"

4. The planner.

They always take the initiative to figure out the who, when, where, how, and why.

5. The party animal.

They respond for one thing and one thing only and that is to party. You ask for help with homework or to DD you for the night..... no response.

6. The latest addition.

You weren't in the group text when it started, but when we found that you would fit in just right, we had to make a spot for you. It takes a certain type of crazy to accept all of our different types of crazy.

7. The innocent.

You never know how to approach all of the crazy situations we get ourselves into, but you are always along for the ride. You're the baby of the group and everyone calls you that, but it's okay, because again.... you're the baby. (smirking face)

8. The constantly ignored.

The one who is always asking questions or trying to hang out and no one ever replies no matter how important they may think what they're talking about is. "Hey guys why am I even in this text?" *still no response* *leaves GM* (Me)

9. The mom.

You always make sure everyone tucked into bed somewhere every night and you are the first to text the group the morning after a party, "if you're alive like this." Then once everyone responds, you let them know you're making breakfast at your apartment for any and everyone who would like to join. You're the voice of reason and for sure the sensitive one.

10. The Boss

You're the one who puts your foot down when people are being irrational, the first one to voice your opinion on any and all conversations no matter how irrelevant they may be, and when people are arguing you're the first one to tell them to shut it down.

We're not all the same, but we are one in the same. We know when we need to lift each other up and put them back in their place. Once you find a group where you feel at home all the time, never let those people go, because it allll goes down in the GM (it go down).

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
