Do you need a million shoes? While you (and your soul) might believe that is true, it really isn't. Save some space in your closet and some money by limiting yourself to these ten pairs of shoes you could need for any occasion, season, and mood!

Note: These are my personal favorite colors and styles and obviously can be substituted!

1. Black Pumps

Of course, the essential, Black Pump. Everyone needs it. Whether it be for a night out or interviews the next morning!

2. Metallic Pumps

A pair of metallic pumps are perfect for any going-out outfit. You can throw them together wit an ensemble that features gold, silver, or even rose-gold accessories, and these shoes will ties everything together excellently.

3. Combat Boots

These boots offer a look that is quite casual. They can be worn with literally anything and they look good... whether it be shorts, leggings, jeans, or even a dress. They are also really comfy and they can be worn in every season, which is also a great plus!

4. Two-Tone Riding Boots

Two tone is perfect when you want a shoe to go with absolutely anything you own. While I don't usually favor black and brown as a combination, these riding boots can tie almost any outfit together and can be used in at least two seasons: fall and winter.

5. Cork Wedges

Cork wedges are a secret summer (and sometimes fall) accessory that not many know about. Of course, we know about cork, our mothers wore them throughout the eighties and nineties in more of a slingback style, but theses sandal all-cork wedges are G-O-L-D. They go with everything and are extremely classy.

6. Black Flats

Self explanatory.

7. Nude Flats

Ditto.

8. Fur Lined Suede Boots

These are the most comfortable shoes on planet earth and everyone should have a pair. Even if you can only wear them at night or the dead of winter, they are perfection.

9. Open-Toe Booties

These are a newer trend that I happen to love and although everyone might not like them, booties come an incredible amount of variance and it is necessary that everyone has one.

10. Sandals

I love cuffed sandals. Cognac is also an incredible versatile color that goes with an amazing amount and can crossover for at least two seasons.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
