Personally, in my opinion, there are just some food trends that don't need to... how do I say this? Exist. Some things to need to stay ideas and not ever implemented in real life. Why do we need cotton candy on pizza or glitter in our cappuccinos? I think it is absolutely ridiculous how far these trends have gone nowadays. I mean I guess since the two most recent generation, Gen Z, and Millennials, is quite influenced by social media--particularly Instagram so maybe that's why? Everything has to be Instagram worthy.
1. Unicorn pizza, unicorn drinks, "unicorn" anything
2. Charcoal ice cream
I won't lie. I am actually obsessed with charcoal ice cream (and the charcoal waffle cones) and crave them daily. I mean look at how pretty it is!
3. Glitter cappuccinos
4. Koi fish/Bubble waffle cones
They do look pretty cool though. Insta worthy, am I right!?
5. La Croix water
6. Sushi burger/Pho burritos
I am actually okay with these ones... they are DELICIOUS.
7. Flaming Hot Cheetos on well... everything
Your as*hole probably hates you.
8. Pizzas with way too much on them
Like this is not necessary and is no longer a slice of pizza.
9. SzeChuan sauce
Spoiler alert: It is terrible but to each their own. I'd honestly rather have normal teriyaki sauce.
10. Mermaid everything
This trend is just as bad if not worse than the Unicorn trend. Please let this die in 2019. I am begging.
