If you attend the University of Alabama, you know how important Alabama game days are. And, what’s better than that? At AU, we know how much fun they are! A typical game day experience at UA wouldn’t be the same without the big white tents and script A tees flood the Quad on Thursdays and Fridays before home games (just like my ultra cute hoodie from VS PINK!)

Whether it’s your first game as a freshman or as a tried and true alumni, these are 10 things you’ll see everyone sporting at an Alabama tailgate!

1. Houndstooth

What would an Alabama game be without a little bit of houndstooth hangin’ around? The famous houndstooth hat wore by Bear Bryant at Alabama games makes the pattern a surefire staple you’re guaranteed to see in the Quad!

2. Casual outfits for smaller games

For smaller, less competitive games, casual attire is typical for watch parties. Rather than your typical sundress, most girls opt for something comfier like shorts and a cute VS PINK top, an Alabama jersey with your favorite player’s number or a laid-back tunic and leggings.

3. Sundresses for bigger games

In Alabama, we go big or go home. For bigger, more important home games with a team rival , you’ll see girls decked out in sundresses of all styles: Black, crimson, white, prints -- nothing is off limits for a game day at UA!

4. Cowgirl boots

Some may think they’re tacky, but cowgirl boots are a staple item for every girl who attends UA, whether we like to admit it or not. In the deep South, we love to be stylish, but we also still love to go back to the basics. (In addition, we can’t forget our rain boots for those rainy, muddy games!)

5. Shakers

An Alabama game wouldn’t be an Alabama game without the entire stadium shaking their shakers. Shakers are a must for everyone attending an Alabama football game!

6. Sunnies

Alabama is hot. And up until November, the Alabama sun doesn’t let up. Sunglasses are essential to surviving a long and exciting game day at UA!

7. Script A’s on everything

Let’s face it, from face tattoos to Alabama jerseys, the script A is the best way to recognize the UA. Therefore, we like to put it on just about everything we can!

8. Outfits with fringe

Fringe has become a huge trend within the last year, and girls are definitely seen sporting this trend at football games. Fringe skirts and tops is a great pick for a trendy outfit, and they add a little flare to your game day attire.

9. Cute shoulder bags

A purse is a must on game day, as you’ll need to definitely touch up your lipstick or face powder on those hot Alabama game days! (double points for fringe!)

10. Two-piece outfits/rompers

Another trend that’s here to stay are two-piece playsuits and rompers. If you aren’t feeling the sundress look, a playsuit or romper is the perfect option for looking cute and staying comfy on Alabama game days!

Alabama is without a doubt the best place to be in the world of college football on Saturdays in the fall. With all these trendy options for your next tailgate and Saturday down South, you’ll be sure to rock the game day scene no matter what you wear!

PINK embodies the energy, excitement, and fun of college life. Offering pretty and playful intimates, loungewear, beauty, and activewear, PINK has become a collegiate staple, instantly recognizable and coveted by girls all around the world.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
