10 Best Organic Oils For Beautiful Skin And Hair

1. Sweet almond oil

This oil possesses high vitamin content, including vitamins A and E, as well as several of the B vitamins. Sweet almond oil hydrates the skin, replenishing lost moisture and soothing any mild skin irritation you may have. It also possesses anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it an effective topical ointment for certain skin irritations, such as eczema and bruises, as well as dry skin.

2. Tea tree oil

If you suffer from acne, this oil will help solve your problem. Because this oil can kill bacteria, applying a 5 percent tea tree oil treatment daily will get rid of any pimples and acne, as well as prevent acne scarring.

3. Jojoba oil

This oil stands out from all the others for a reason: Jojoba oil is the only oil that closely resembles human sebum, an oily substance naturally produced by the oil glands below the skin surface, so its uses and benefits to the skin and hair are high. Therefore, women with oily skin and dry scalps benefit the most from this oil, which helps regulate the epidermis' natural production of oil. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it also assists in healing wounds, treats skin infections and other skin afflictions, and even slows the aging of skin. It also reduces skin inflammation and fights acne.

4. Argan oil

Rich with vitamin A, E, antioxidants, omega-6 fatty acids, and linoleum acid, this oil is great for promoting healthy, beautiful skin, hair, and nails. It's non-greasy, non-irritating, and easily observable, making for an excellent natural moisturizer.

5. Coconut oil

There's a reason why there's such a craze over this oil in the beauty and health world, as well as its title as a "miracle oil." High in saturated fats, capric, caprylic, and lauric acid, proteins, and vitamin E, this anti-bacterial oil treats acne, dry skin, dandruff, stretch marks, dark circles, prevents wrinkles, and makes for an excellent moisturizer. Coconut oil also works great as a makeup remover, sunscreen, leave-in hair conditioner, and whitening toothpaste. Yes, you read that right. So add this amazing oil to your list of must-haves.

6. Grapeseed oil

This oil is a natural astringent. It contains linoleic acid, which has healing and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great treatment for acne-prone skin.

7. Rosehip seed oil

This oil is full of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines. Because it contains vitamin C and lycopene to rejuvenate skin and help maintain elasticity, it makes for a great remedy for stretch marks. If you're an expectant mother, this one is for you.

8. Chamomile oil

The main component of this oil is azulene, which helps calm the skin. It's key for treating psoriasis, spider veins, acne scars, eczema, and sunburns.

9. Olive oil

Besides making for an excellent cooking oil and salad dressing, this oil has been used as a beauty treatment for centuries. This antioxidant rich oil makes for an excellent moisturizer, improves skin elasticity, fights free radicals, and facilitates skin healing, while reducing under-eye wrinkles, treating dry, flaky scalp or dandruff, and frizzy hair or split ends.

10. Avocado oil

This oil comes with an assortment of vitamins and nutrients, which make for an excellent moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin. Rubbing down with this oil gives you the same omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants that you get from eating this yummy fruit.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
