10 Of The Best Movies That Came Out Of The 90s

Whether you are on a Netflix binge or you are just trying to watch some new movies, 90's movies are definitely the way to go. They have just the right amount of humor and romance to make anyone fall in love with them. Some of the greatest movies came out in the 90's, including some of my personal favorites. If you ran out of things to watch on Netflix or you just want to expand you movie knowledge, than you will definitely want to check out some of these great movies from the 90's

1. Titanic

You can't deny that this was probably one of the top five movies to come out of the 90s. It was so popular that it even came back into theaters for a short amount of time due to it's success in 1997!

2. Clueless

One of the best chick flicks to come out of the 90's, as if we couldn't get enough of the 90's already. "Clueless" is the perfect movie for your girls night in!

3. 10 Things I Hate About You

Taking a modern twist on Shakespeare, "10 Things I Hate About You" has such a great twisted love story that is extremely hard to ignore.

4. The Parent Trap

This is on everyone's favorite movie list as a child and it's perfect for that movie night in.

5. Pretty Woman

This is a must see movie for every girl out there! Julia Roberts has a different career choice than most when it comes to winning over a guy which makes this movie even funnier.

6. Drive Me Crazy

This movie sort of falls under the category of, so-bad-it's-good movie. It's the stereotypical boy falls in love with the girl next door.

7. Pulp Fiction

Again probably on the list of the top five movies that were released in the 90s. Everyone had a small crush on John Travolta back in the day, so this is just one movie you can watch if you're just now jumping on the John Travolta bandwagon.

8. Fight Club

If you're claiming to be a lover of the 90s movies, or just some of the greatest movies, then you will most definitely have watched Fight Club. With a young Brad Pitt on the scene you know that it is going to be a great one.

9. Home Alone

If you say that you don't like "Home Alone" you'll probably have everyone around you hating you. It is one of the most classic movies that have come out of the 90's.

10. Scream

If it weren't for this 90's movie we wouldn't have had the great "Scream" parodies, or the great TV shows that are "Scream"and "Scream Queens." We have a lot to thank this movie for, including the way it scared us!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
