10 of the best lyrics from Ed Sheeran's new album "Divide."

With the release of Ed Sheeran's new album we all knew there was going to be some lyrics that hit a little too close to home. Not only are they relatable but they are also beautiful, and one of the best things about Ed Sheeran is that he makes you feel a lot of things when he sings, sadness, happiness, longing, remembering, and much more.

Here are 10 of the best lyrics from songs from his newest album Divide.

  1. "Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you, But ain't nobody love you like I do."— Happier.

2."You were an angel in the shape of my mum, When I fell down you'd be there holding me up, Spread your wings as you go, And when God takes you back we'll say Hallelujah, You're home."— Supermarket Flowers

3. “I feel safe when you're holding me near, Love the way that you conquer your fear, You know hearts don't break around here.” —Hearts Don’t Break Around Here

4. "A heart that's broke is a heart that's been loved." —Supermarket Flowers

5.“I fell in love with the sparkle in the moonlight, Reflected in your beautiful eyes, I guess that is destiny doing it right.” — Barcelona

6. “I’m feeling younger, every time that I’m alone with you.” —How would you feel

7. “We push and pull like a magnet do.” —Shape of You

8. “Fighting against all odds, I know we’ll be alright this time.” —Perfect

9. “How would you feel, if I told you I loved you?, It’s just something that I want to do.” —How would you feel

10. “When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath, But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight.” —Perfect

Obviously this isn’t all of the songs, and each and every song on the album has something special about it and a lyric that makes you feel something. But these are the 10 that really stand out to me. If you haven’t listened to the album give it a go, and let these words bring you to some place of feeling.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
