Before you even enroll in a class, do you ever check the Rate My Professors website to see what other students think of the professor you'll be taking? What if that professor has a poor rating, but they're the only professor available for the class you're required to take for your major? That sucks.
The new semester has already started, and your professor is not what you expected. Perhaps they're boring, or they require too much out of their class; maybe they're a tough grader or not the best at assisting you. On the other hand, maybe they're very cool and their class is an easy A!
Nicki Minaj, aside from rapping, is definitely a character. Like her or not, Nicki's personality and gestures easily compare to every feeling we have before, during or after class.
Here is an interesting set of hypothetical situations, featuring the one and only, Nicki Minaj:
1. The day after the professor grades your work.
Let's say you got a poor (or mediocre) grade on an assignment. Maybe you worked so hard on that assignment, and the opposite happens of what you expect. The day of class, this is your first instinct.
2. When the professor teaches new material.
The professor is on a new topic in class and you're super lost.
3. When you're taking notes, but the professor changes the slide.
You're actually invested in taking notes to understand the material, but the professor is going too fast for your pace. Come on, now.
4. When your study buddy cracks a joke.
If your friend's the jokester, they're probably good at roasting the professor or showing you a funny meme in class to pass the time.
5. When another student explains the topic more than the professor does.
Seems like the student knows more about the material than you do, huh? Why can't you?
6. When the professor cold calls on you to answer the question.
See, well, um.... you know, um... the square root of 69 is... um...
7. When the professor gives out a clicker question.
Depending on the class, your professor may provide clicker questions. You need those extra points, but the question is probably confusing.
8. When you get the question correct, though....
But you didn't even know the material and you aced that question. Work it!
9. When the professor lets you out of class early.
This is what all students want, especially if it's your last class of the day.
10. When you try to make nice with your professor.
Trying to pull a conversation for a better grade? Hm. Interesting.
