10 Netflix Shows You Didn't Know You Were Missing
Pixelvulture.com

According to "TIME", there are approximately 86.7 million Netflix subscribers worldwide as of October, 2016. Netflix has become a worldwide sensation that most of us are using on a daily or almost daily basis. With that being said, how many individuals out of these 86.7 million truly know everything there is to explore on Netflix? Here are some must-watch shows that are currently on Netflix that you probably didn't know you were missing!

1. "The 100"

This show takes place in a futuristic world. After a nuclear war, people from multiple nations were sent into space to live. The time frame takes place 97 years after the war, and they realize at this point that their spaceship housing is failing. They send 100 juvenile delinquents back to the Earth to see whether it is now livable or not. This show is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat, and I would highly recommend this for those who like unique storylines. It's well crafted, but definitely not for the faint of heart.

2. "Brain Games"

"Brain Games" doesn't have a specific plot line throughout the show. However, each episode is uniquely its own in explaining (or rather, showing) how the brain works. It's not your stereotypical documentary. The show is great about getting you to interact and definitely keeps you engaged the whole time. This is a fun show and is family friendly.

3. "How I Met Your Mother"

Also known as "HIMYM", this is a fun sitcom that consists of nine seasons, each episode running between 20-25 minutes. It's about Ted Mosby and his friends, how he is a hopeless romantic, and all of their adventures together. This is sure to be a show that you can binge-watch and is very humorous. It has a great story line too.

4. "Drop Dead Diva"

This show has an interesting twist on reincarnation. A model, who seems to have the perfect life, runs into a grapefruit truck while driving. She went up to Heaven and instead of entering, she goes back to Earth and lands in a plus-size lawyer's body. She now has to figure out how to live with a new identity and love her new look. It's a truly addicting show and the law aspect of it gives it a kick.

5. "New Girl"

This is another fun little sitcom that stars Zooey Deschanel. It's based in California and is about this girl named Jess and her every day life with three male roommates. If you want an upbeat and funny TV series that's similar to "How I Met Your Mother", this is the one!

6. "Penny Dreadful"

Stepping away from the sitcoms, "Penny Dreadful" is definitely not something to watch around the kiddos. On another note, it is a wonderfully crafted show, retelling the tales of Dracula, Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, and even more. They are all intertwined in this suspenseful, yet unique show.

7. "Lie To Me"

If you prefer more of a crime based show, this one is right up your alley. The main character, Cal Lightman, studies facial expressions to tell when someone is lying. This show takes an interesting twist on criminal investigating!

8. "Fuller House"

Once you get past the first episode or two of Bob Saget's awkward acting, this show actually proves itself to be pretty good! Though it will never fully compete with the original "Full House", it is still really fun to watch. It's also cool to see how the kids have grown up and how they are now raising families of their own.

9. "Bates Motel"

Based on the 1959 novel and 1960 film "Psycho", Norman Bates and his mother move to a new and small town. They move there so they can start over, start a new business and get away from the past. Lots of cryptic things start to happen, and the truth about Norman comes out.

10. "White Collar"

For you crime lovers, this is also your type of show. Neal Caffrey, the main character, works with the FBI to conduct investigations into other white collar criminals. The real twist is that Neal himself is a criminal! It's interesting how it pans out, especially because it's from the mind of a "criminal" and it puts a new spin on a crime show.

So here is your list of the ten shows on Netflix that you may be missing out on! These are some interesting TV series that are definitely worth watching on Netflix. Be sure to get your episode binging on with this variety!

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
