10 Netflix Shows To Watch During Quarantine

While everyone is stuck in the house with family and roommates, its the perfect time to catch up on some Netflix shows! Here are 10 of my favorites for you to try.

1: That 70's Show

That 70's Show shows a group of teenagers in the 70's as they grow up together and navigate all the drama and obstacles that come with high school. Teenagers causing trouble and falling in love makes for one of the best shows to watch when you can't do much yourself.

2: Criminal Minds

If you're a crime lover and have not watched Criminal Minds, I would highly recommend it. Between falling in love with the characters and digging deep into the minds of serial killers, you're sure to get hooked! Plus who doesn't love Spencer Reid and Derek Morgan. You don't have to worry about running out of episodes either since there are 15 seasons, 12 of which are on Netflix!

3: The Ranch

The Ranch is a cheesy comedy that involves a lot of the actors from That 70's Show. So, if you just can't let go of Kelso, Hyde, Red, Kitty, Fez, and more, give The Ranch a try!

4: The Fosters

This show touches on some very important political issues in a unique way. It's dramatic and entertaining, but definitely makes you think about the way our society works.

5: All American

When a Crenshaw football player is recruited to play for Beverly Hills, the difference in values and way of life becomes a problem for him. This show is certain to keep the whole family entertained as it explores sports, romance, and family dynamics.

6: Shameless

Shameless shows the life of an alcoholic father, his children, and their community as they try to survive the crime ridden streets of Chicago. It's hilarious, dramatic, and will definitely keep you interested.

7: Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes

If you watched the movie "Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil and Vile" and Zac Efron's portrayal of Ted Bundy made you fall in love with the famous serial killer, take some time to watch this documentary about him and see if it changes your mind. It plays actual tapes from interviews with Ted Bundy and explores the case itself, rather than focusing on his charm and public persona.

8: Jane The Virgin

If you like Telenovelas or Soap Operas with a comedic twist, this is the perfect show for you! It's funny, dramatic, and wild enough to keep you on your toes!

9: Schitts Creek

This is a dry comedy that may take you a little bit of time to get in to, but if you spend the time you will find yourself rooting for the characters all the way to the end. There are 5 seasons of family drama to entertain you, just in case you don't have enough of your own during quarantine.

10: What's New Scooby-Doo?

While you have all this extra time on your hands, might as well throw it back to your stress free childhood days. Rewatching all the Scooby-Doo episodes you can find is the perfect way to do that. However, I would recommend sticking to the classics.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
