On those rainy lazy days of summer what's better then snuggling up and binge watching some Netflix series? Make a cup of hot chocolate get in your most comfortable clothes and get under the blankets. There is nothing better to do on a rainy summer day when you cannot be outside by the pool or on the beach. These are some of my favorite Netflix series that I binge watch on a daily basis!

1. Grey's Anatomy

I never thought I would like Grey's Anatomy because of all the surgery's, I thought I couldn't handle all of the blood and that stuff, surprisingly you get used to it and it is not that bad. I fell in love with this series, it will make you laugh, cry, and be angry. I never knew I could feel so many emotions just from a show.

2. One Tree Hill

This has to be one of my favorite series. It has tons of ups and downs of life starting in high school and we follow them into their adult lives. You will not want to leave these characters, but unfortunately you will have to eventually.

3. Gilmore Girls

If you have only watched random episodes of Gilmore Girls here and there on TV you must watch the entire series from the beginning. Trust me it is worth it. You will get to watch Rory grow up through the years and you'll get attached to all the characters. Especially now that Gilmore Girls A Year in the Life came out the journey will last a little longer. If you are anything like me though the ending is going to absolutely kill you!

4. Shameless

Looking for a modern and crazy series to binge watch then this is the one. Shameless is crazy, it is so different from any other TV series you have ever watched. It displays some ugly truths of some everyday life problems.

5. Orange Is The New Black

If you were ever wondering what it would be like to be in a woman's prison then this is the series for you. It is filled with action and crazy stories.

6. Parenthood

Parenthood is a fun, loving, family oriented series. It shows the ups and downs of becoming or being a parent. It focuses on one extended family and shows their everyday lives.

7. Scandal

Scandal is full of gruesome action and scandalous decisions. If you are looking for a series that is going to keep you on your toes then this is the one.

8. 90210

Based in Beverly Hills you will follow the friendships and relationships of a tight knit group of friends. You will follow them through their journeys into adulthood with all the obstacles they had to face to get there.

9. Stranger Things

Interested in a mysterious supernatural series then look no further check out Stranger Things!

10. House Of Cards

If you are anything like me you will probably hate main character Underwood, but won't be able to stop watching. He might be the worst person ever in the show and you might hate him, but he is really smart and will keep your attention throughout the show.

11. Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl is an intriguing series about different social classes, friendships, and relationships.

12. Friends

This is a classic and you can't pass it up. You may have watched random episodes on TV forever, but it will be so much better to watch them all in order from start to finish. Now you will actually know everything that ever happened on friends in chronological order.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
