Everyone loves having a fire in the fireplace, with the Christmas Tree lit up, a nice mug of hot coco and their favorite Christmas movies. The top 10 movies you need to watch this season are here:
1. A Christmas Carol
You can never go wrong with A Christmas Carol. The story is beautiful, a little on the depressing side, but it'll get you in the giving spirit.
The first silent film version of this Movie came out in 1901 and was named Scrooge or Marley's Ghost with Daniel Smith as Scrooge. There have been more than ten adaptations or remakes of the original story told by Charles Dickens.
My top two favorite adaptation of the story would have to be the 1984 version with George C. Scott as Scrooge:
And the 2009, Disney version :
“Bah," said Scrooge, "Humbug.” - Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
2. The Polar Express
What's Christmas without a little adventure to believe. Music by Alan Silvestri and Screenplay by Robert Zemeckis and William Broyles Jr. This story is based on the 1985 children's book same name by Chris Van Allsburg.
I've never seen such great graphics and such a lovely story. Seeing isn't always believing, but this story will warm your heart and make you believe all night long.
"Seeing is believing"
3. How the Grinch Sole Christmas
Both the real-life and animated versions of this movie is always a classic to watch. Max is probably more loyal than my dog and Cindy Lou Who is the only one who understands the real meaning of Christmas. In the real-life version, Jim Carrey will keep you laughing and enjoying till the end.

4. Home Alone
This is a hilarious film with robbers, an 8 year old kid grocery shopping by himself, and the importance of family. This humor filled film pinpoints the understanding and importance of having family around for the holidays.
5. A Miracle on 34th Street
This is a heartwarming tale of "Santa" and brightening the heart of one young girl. This film is guaranteed to warm your heart and never underestimate what Santa can do to nonbelievers.
6. Elf
This humorous tale of an"elf" leaving the North Pole and traveling to the famous New York City. He has no idea what's in store for him and turns one family's holiday season to a time of joy.
"The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear"
7. Rudolf The Red-Nose Reindeer
These stop motion films are a classic to enjoy every holiday season. Understanding that your flaws make you who you are is very important and this film is perfect for that.
8. Frosty the Snowman
This cartoon is timeless. Frosty is a snowman that "came to life one day" with a magical hat. The kids loved Frosty till they realized that the warming sun would leave frosty a puddle, in an extravagant effort to save frosty, the kids embark on a mission to get him to cooler weather.
