10 Movies You Need To Watch

I have many favorite movies. There are many different genres. I have genres from Action to fantasy to animated movies. I have other favorite movies but these are my top favorite movies. Some of them I have only watched once and others I’ve watched so many times. I’ve watched a few of these seven times. A few I fell in love with because it was a cult classic while I was growing up. Movies are ways for you to describe yourself. With the recent movie “inside out”, mental health places use this movie and so do therapists with little kids. They will sit with a patient and ask them to point out which emotion they are feeling. This movie has become a revolutionary tool in the mental health work force. This way the kids can tell everyone how they are feeling without lashing out in frustration before they could explain how they feel.

  1. "Deadpool".
Two words Ryan Reynolds. One more thing Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Deadpool is played by Ryan Reynolds. You get to see Ryan shirtless. Now, Negasonic is just really cool and super badass.
  2. "Labyrinth".
David Bowie in tight spandex pants. Sparkles everywhere and on everything. Big hair and perfect makeup. And puppets everywhere, plus David Bowie’s acting was perfect.
  3. "Boondock Saints".
Norman Reedus and Sean Flannery play Irish brothers who turn into vigilantes who take out the mobs and mafias in their city.
  4. "Boondock Saints 2 All Saints Day".
In this installment of the movie, the brothers team up with their father to take out the deep rooted mafia that their father unknowingly helps get started.
  5. "Guardians of the Galaxy".
Michael Rooker, David Batista, Vin Diesel, and Chris Pratt. Need I say more?
  6. "Jurassic World".
Chris Pratt and Dinosaurs. Chris Pratt on a motorcycle and dinosaurs. Are you enticed yet?
  7. "The Wizard Of Oz".
This movie does not need any explaining. It is a timeless classic that has stood the test of time.
  8. "The Twilight Saga".
There is some debate about this movie saying that it ruined vampires forever. This is a love story tied into the fantasy world. I still love these movies and the books. And Taylor Lautner and BooBoo Stewart.
  9. Harry Potter Series.
Wizards, dragons, ghosts, magic, witches, and Professor Severus Snape. The late great Allen Rickman.
  10. "Big Hero 6".
Fall Out Boy is in this movie. Plus it shows that if someone dies they aren’t truly gone they live on through different objects in this case, it was Baymax.

These are my top 10 favorite movies. There are more favorites but these are the top 10. I know two of them are series but that’s because I love the whole series so much.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
