NBC all-star Jimmy Fallon and One Direction's newly solo Harry Styles teamed up to take on Saturday Night Live this weekend, and boy they did not disappoint.
Fallon and Styles formed a dream team of epic proportions, and proved they were the perfect choice of special guests for SNL's first truly live episode ever, broadcasting from coast to coast for the first time. From top-notch sketches to debuting brand new music, the #FallonStylesSNL experience was truly a sight to behold. Here are 10 of the night's best moments you do not want to forget.
1. Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner vied for President Trump's affections in this perfect cold open.
Of course, Jimmy came out on top.
2. Jimmy took a lively journey through studio 8H with his opening monologue performance of David Bowie's "Let's Dance."
Featuring a small guest appearance from a twirling lip-syncing Harry Styles.
3. Harry finally put his Mick Jagger tendencies to good use with this spot-on impression in "Celebrity Family Feud: Time Travel Edition."
4. While Jimmy gave us the gift of a double John Travolta.
Watching him transform between 1977 Travolta and 2017 Travolta was definitely one of the night's highlights, along with that impeccable, "Oh my God, Sandy."
5. Harry gave his first solo performance ever with a passionate rendition of his brand new #1 single "Sign of the Times."
He, and his lovely plaid suit, came to impress.
6. Melissa "Spicey" McCarthy returned to help us celebrate our last Easter on Earth.
Thanks to a brewing nuclear war with North Korea, the future of Easter is a little muddled.
7. Jimmy traveled back to the Civil War to help the Union Army create the nation's first "big, fat hook" in a song.
"Oh, oh, oh, it's a party at my parents' house!"
8. While Harry, a Confederate prisoner, contributed his own artistic ideas to the cause.
"You know what would sound good? Uh, if ya'll did a bridge after that part."
9. Kate McKinnon had us rolling with her impeccable Kristen Stewart impression.
"I don't know dude, I just, I don't know."
10. And we were treated to a performance of Harry's never-before-heard song, the aptly named, "Ever Since New York."
