Grey's Anatomy has always been one of those shows that has some of the most memorable quotes. From "Pick me, Choose me. Love me." to "He's not the sun, you are." Meredith Grey is no exception to that and in this case, these ten quotes are a little bit of everything from inspirational to some of the times where she was just as real as you can get.

1. "The expected is what keeps us steady. It's the unexpected that changes our lives forever."

2. "If there's just one piece of advice that I can give you, it's this - when there's something you really want, fight for it, don't give up no matter how hopeless it seems. And when you've lost hope, ask yourself in 10 years from now, you're going to wish you gave it one more shot because the best things in life, they don't come free."

3. "Pain comes in all forms. The small twinge, a bit of soreness, the random pain, the normal pain that we live with every day. Then there's the kind of pain you can't ignore. A level of pain so great that it blocks out everything else...makes the rest of the world fade away until all we can think about is how much we hurt. How we manage our pain is up to us. Pain, ride it out, embrace it, ignore it, and for some of us, the best way to manage it is to just push through it.

Pain, you just have to ride it out, hope that it goes away on its own. Hope the wound that caused it heals. There are no solutions, no easy answers. You just breathe deep and wait for it to subside. Most of the time pain can be managed, but sometimes the pain gets you when you least expect it/ It hits you way below the belt and doesn't let up. Pain. you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can't outrun it. and life always makes more."

4. "Communication. It's the first thing we really learn in life. Funny thing is, once we grow up, learn our words and really start talking, the harder it becomes to know what to say or how to ask for what we really need."

5. "Bones break. Organs burst. Flesh tears. We can sew flesh, repair the damage, ease the pain. but when life breaks down, there's no science, no hard and fast rules. We just have to feel our way through."

6. "We all go through life like bulls in a China shop - a chip here, a crack there, doing damage to ourselves and other people. The problem is trying to figure out how to control the damage we've done or that's been done to us.

Sometimes the damage catches us by surprise, sometimes we think we can fix the damage, and sometimes the damage is something we can't even see. We're all damaged it seems. Some more than others. We carry the damage with us from childhood, then as grownups, we give as good as we get. ultimately we all do damage and then we set about the business of fixing what we can."

7. "No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut. And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be."

8. "Even with the best plans complications can arise. Things can go wrong."

9. "We spend our whole lives worrying about the future, planning the future, trying to predict the future, as if figuring it out will cushion the blow. But the future is always changing. The future is the home of our deepest fears and wildest hopes. But one thing is certain when it finally reveals itself, the future is never the way we imagined it."

10. " At some point you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That's how we're made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them."

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.
