As a former piano/flute/trombone player, and a current color guard member, I can tell you that the feelings we all have about band are weird. You hate it and love it at the same time. You are dedicated to a life of sore feet and feather plumes, but somehow, you still can't get enough. There are things every band member everywhere understands. There's no real way to sum up the extent of the marching band culture, but the closest we could get was this collection of memes that we all get.
