Doing and buying makeup is so much fun to me. I see it as an art form as well as a hobby. Everyone knows of brands like Revlon, Urban Decay, and Bobbi Brown, but some of these brands can be over commercialized. Here I have included 10 under-the-radar makeup brands that are amazing quality to make any makeup lover happy.
1. Makeup Geek
Eye shadows that are just as pigmented (or more so) than MAC Cosmetics AND half the price! The shades come in individual pans and there is a wide range of beautiful colors to choose from.
2. Morphe Brushes
Morphe specializes in brushes, but they have some killer eye shadow palettes for super cheap. You can get 35 eye shadows for around $20, which is an amazing deal. Morphe partnered with Jaclyn Hill to create the Jaclyn Hill favorites palette. If Jaclyn Hill loves these palettes enough to partner with them and create a palette, it has to be good.
3. CoulorPop Cosmetics
ColourPop is an up and coming brand from LA that has some amazing eye shadows and lip products. My personal favorites are the metallic eye shadow in "Nillionaire" and lipstick in the shade "Lumière."
4. Korres
Korres has the best lip balms. Period. Go get them all at Sephora ASAP.
5. Costal Scents
My very first makeup item was a Costal Scents eyeshadow and blush palette. Similar to Morphe, the quality is amazing for a very cheap price. It lasted me for years and it’s a great way to start a makeup collection.
6. Lime Crime
Lime Crime is one of the best places to get the super cool lipstick colors that are on trend. They are cheap, but high quality, so go out and buy that purple lipstick that you’ve been dying to try!
7. Milani
Milani is probably the most accessible brand on this list because it is sold at the drugstore. Milani, in my opinion, has some of the best blushes on the market and it is super affordable.
8. Gerard Cosmetics
Gerard Cosmetics is definitely on the more expensive side, but they are always having great sales and it is great quality. Check out the lipstick in the color "Vintage Rose"… It is so beautiful.
9. Tan Towels
I know this isn’t a makeup brand, but Tan Towels have made my life so much easier. All you have to do is wipe the towel on places you want to be a little darker and you are left with a beautiful glow.
10. Inglot Cosmetics
Inglot Cosmetics is slightly more expensive than some of these other brands, but their eye shadows are stunning. Inglot isn't big in the US yet, so you need to purchase their products online.
